To do this, if you have not completed your OTR Registration, you must first complete STEP – 1. If you have already completed the OTR Registration, proceed forward with STEP – 1.

BPSC has made OTR compulsory starting from TRE 4.0. If you have done OTR for any previous BPSC exam, use the same credentials. New candidates should follow the steps below.

STEP – 1

Open the OTR Section on bpsc.bihar.gov.in. Click on the “One Time Registration (OTR)” link on the Homepage.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR DIGILOCKER

The candidate needs to first register for a DigiLocker account. They must have an Aadhaar card and an accessible mobile phone.

1) What is the first step to register for DigiLocker?
Ans: The person needs to visit https://accounts.digilocker.gov.in/ and then sign up.

2) What is the second step to register for DigiLocker?
Ans: The person needs to click on the Sign In option. Then, the person needs to add their Mobile no. and a 6-digit Security PIN while signing up. After that, they need to add their Aadhaar card no. and username, which will be required for login. In this process, the person needs to enter the OTP to verify the mobile number (Note: the Aadhaar Card must be linked with this mobile number).

3) What is the third step to register for DigiLocker?
Ans: In the platform, there is a ‘Drive’ option. In that drive, the candidate can add all the required documents, especially Educational and Health-related documents in this case.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR ONLINE ONE TIME REGISTRATION (OTR)

1) What is the first step for Registration?
At the first instance, the applicant has to provide a valid and active email address because the system will verify it with a 6-digit OTP sent to the provided email address.

2) What is the second step for Registration?
At the second step, the applicant has to provide a valid mobile number as it will be used for further applications and updates. When the applicant provides a 10-digit mobile number, an OTP will be directly sent to that number, and the number gets verified when the OTP is matched.

3) What is the third step for Registration?
Create a strong Alpha-Numeric Password, if possible, with a special character (@, #, etc.). Write the same password in the confirm password tab so that if the New Password and Confirm Password Tab data matches, the application can move forward.

4) What is the fourth step for Registration?
The applicant has to write their Full name and fill in the same name again in the ‘Verify Candidate Name’ Tab. If and only if the Full Name matches with the Verify Candidate Name, the applicant will be able to move to the next step and be registered on the BPSC portal.

5) What is the fifth step for Registration?
For the Candidate’s Mother’s and Father’s Name, the process is the same as the Candidate’s Name. If and only if both the Name and Verify Name Tabs are the same, the application will progress.

6) What is the sixth step for Registration?
The next part is the Candidate’s Date of Birth. The process remains the same as the Candidate’s Name. Make sure the date of birth in the Verify tab matches the original Date of Birth.

7) What is the 7th step for Registration?
Gender: The applicant needs to select their Gender from the drop-down menu (Male or Female).

2. Fill in Basic Details
Fill in the basic details such as Full Name (as on 10th certificate), Father’s Name, DOB, Gender, valid Email ID, active Mobile Number, and other details as shown here –

3. Now enter your Email ID and the Mobile Number that is linked with your Aadhaar. Submit the OTR and verify both the Mobile and Email OTPs. After this, create your password. Now, fill in your name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, and gender, and then submit. Go to the preview section, carefully verify all your details, and check/tick the empty boxes appearing next to each correct detail.

Process after BPSC OTR Registration: How to fill the BPSC TRE 4.0 Online Application Form 2026?

• Now, visit the official website again and log in using your Registration Number and Password.
• Here, a DigiLocker option will appear. Click on ‘No’ and proceed further.
• As soon as you verify the OTP sent to your email and phone number, your ‘Profile Creation’ section will become active.
• Next, fill in your personal details, including your name in both English and Hindi. Select your date of birth, marital status, and ID type. Mention any visible physical identification mark. If you are a resident (domicile) of Bihar, select ‘Yes’ and then enter your domicile certificate number. You will use a similar option to fill in your caste details.
• After this, you will need to provide physical measurement details. Fill in your height, weight, unexpanded chest, and chest expansion in centimeters (cm).
• Fill in details regarding PwD (Persons with Disabilities), Sports quota, Ex-Serviceman, NCC Cadet, or Government Employee status. If any of these apply to you, click ‘Yes’; otherwise, click ‘No’ and save.
• Now, fill in your address details. Following this, enter your educational qualifications step-by-step, such as 10th, 12th, Diploma, Graduation, CTET/STET/BTET, etc.
• Make sure to click Save for each option/section as you fill it out.
• Next will be the ‘Experience’ section. If you have any prior teaching experience, fill it in; if not, you can leave it, as it is not mandatory.
• After this, your Live Photo will be captured. Then, upload your signature. The file size must be less than 15KB. Its width should be between 250px and 320px, and its height should be between 150px and 220px. You must upload signatures in both Hindi and English.
• As soon as you submit, all your information will be saved.
• Next, click on “New Application”, and the BPSC TRE 4.0 application details will appear on your screen. You will eventually pay your form fee here.
• Important: Before paying the fee, you must select your Class Preferences and upload all your required documents/certificates (from High School to Graduation, Post Graduation, CTET, STET, etc.).
• Finally, pay the application fee and take a printout of the final submitted form for future reference.
